There's Nothing To See Here

Please move along and read my
NYCMTB All-City XC MTB At Highbridge Park

report over on the 29er Crew blog
.

It's all there, except for the part about some neighborhood kids from The Bronx cheering me on using "The N Word". As in "Go get 'im N Word". Only they used the real word, because they can, and I can't but because that would just be weird. Or maybe worse than weird. That never happens when I'm racing my bike in New Hampshire. I have no idea why.

Great write up...one small problem, while it may have seemed like a scene from "Fort Apache the Bronx", it was actually in fancy Manhattan.

Thanks for the write up and thank you and "The Girl" for making the trip and being awesome.

Catch you at the DH40.

"Let the brothers go!"

I generally don't do movies or anything else cultural but Fort Apache was one of my all-time favorites.

tp, you really need to invest in some more durable tires. i don't think i've read a single race report without you referencing the need for stan's to seal up a flat.

you're also rubbing off a little too much on resultsboy. he flatted his bontragers twice at harold parker on thursday.

Tire choice:
Thom picked a tire I would only reserve for commuting in NYC...not the tire I would have picked for HB which is rocky. But I am glad he did not really flat because he put a show on. With a perma smile on his face.
